1. Description of Services

TradesPro Digital provides the following services to UK tradespeople and businesses:

  • Website Design & Development: Custom website creation, design, and development tailored to trade businesses
  • Graphic Design: Logo design, branding, marketing materials, and visual content creation
  • Digital Marketing: SEO, social media marketing, Google Ads, Facebook advertising, and lead generation
  • Website Maintenance: Ongoing support, updates, hosting, and technical assistance
  • Analytics & Reporting: Performance tracking, analytics setup, and reporting services

Specific services and deliverables will be agreed upon in writing before work commences.

2. Payment Terms

Our payment terms are transparent and client-friendly:

Pay on Completion (Default)

You only pay once your website is fully completed and you approve the final version. No upfront fees required.

Deposits (If Applicable)

Deposits may be requested for large or multi-page projects. Deposit payments are non-refundable once work has begun.

Alternative Payment Plans

For larger projects, we may agree on alternative payment structures:

  • • Milestone payments
  • • Monthly retainer for ongoing services
  • • Custom payment schedules as agreed in writing

Invoices

All invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless agreed otherwise.

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP). As TradesPro Digital is not VAT-registered, VAT is not charged on any services.

Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, credit/debit card, PayPal, or other agreed methods.

3. Revisions, Timelines & Project Scope

Revisions

We include reasonable revisions within the agreed scope of work. Major design changes or additional features beyond the original brief may incur additional charges, which will be communicated and agreed upon in advance.

Timelines

Project timelines will be agreed upon at the start of each project. We strive to meet all deadlines, but timelines may be affected by delays in receiving content, feedback, or approvals from the client.

Project Scope

The project scope, deliverables, and specifications will be documented and agreed upon before work begins. Any changes to scope will be discussed and may result in adjusted pricing and timelines.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure timely and successful project completion, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing Content: Supplying all necessary text, images, logos, and other content in a timely manner
  • Timely Feedback: Providing prompt feedback and approvals on design concepts and drafts
  • Access: Granting necessary access to domain registrars, hosting accounts, social media accounts, and other platforms as needed
  • Accurate Information: Providing accurate business information, contact details, and project requirements
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all content provided is legally owned, licensed, or permitted for use
  • Payment: Making timely payments according to agreed terms

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in project delays or additional charges.

5. Our Responsibilities

  • Professional Service: Delivering services professionally and to the best of our ability
  • Quality Work: Producing high-quality websites and marketing materials that meet agreed specifications

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content & Materials

You retain full ownership of all content, text, images, logos, and materials you provide to us. You grant us a license to use these materials solely for the purpose of delivering your project.

Our Work & Designs

Upon full payment, you will own the final website design, custom graphics, and deliverables created specifically for your project. However:

  • • We retain ownership of code frameworks, templates, and reusable components
  • • We may use project screenshots for our portfolio (unless otherwise agreed)
  • • Third-party plugins, themes, and tools are subject to their own licenses

Third-Party Assets

Stock images, fonts, icons, and other third-party assets used in your project are subject to their respective licenses. We will ensure all assets are properly licensed for your use.

You may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of our proprietary code, frameworks, or reusable components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • TradesPro Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services
  • We are not responsible for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question
  • We are not liable for third-party services, hosting downtime, or technical issues beyond our control

Note: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement under the following circumstances:

Termination by Client

You may terminate the project at any time by providing written notice. You will be invoiced for work completed up to the termination date. Deposits and payments already made are non-refundable.

Termination by TradesPro Digital

We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if:

  • • Payment is not received within 30 days of invoice date
  • • The client breaches these Terms
  • • The client fails to provide necessary content or feedback for more than 60 days
  • • The project scope changes significantly beyond the original agreement

Post-Termination

Upon termination, we will provide you with all completed work and files. Any outstanding payments must be settled within 14 days.

9. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

Pay-on-Completion Projects

Since payment is only required after you approve the final website, refunds are not applicable. You only pay when you're 100% satisfied.

Deposits & Advance Payments

Deposits and advance payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a project is cancelled before work begins, deposits may be refunded at our discretion.

Ongoing Services & Retainers

Monthly retainers and ongoing service fees are non-refundable. You may cancel ongoing services with 30 days' written notice.

10. Warranties and Disclaimers

  • We warrant that services will be performed professionally and with reasonable care and skill
  • We do not guarantee specific results, rankings, traffic, or business outcomes from our services
  • Websites are provided "as is" and we make no warranties regarding compatibility with all devices, browsers, or future technologies
  • We are not responsible for third-party services, plugins, or tools used in your project

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We encourage resolving any disputes amicably through direct communication before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For active projects, existing agreements will remain under the Terms agreed upon at project commencement.
